Patricia is a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, providing counseling and therapy in the Jacksonville/Mandarin area. She has extensive expertise working with couples, college students, adolescents and athletes, as well as women with childhood trauma and sexual assault. With many years of experience, she has dedicated herself to empowering others to live a full and invigorating life.

Patricia utilizes a comprehensive, integrated psychotherapy approach during counseling. Psychotherapy is a process that allows an individual to explore his or her own life. The purpose of this exploration can be to problem-solve, gain insight or to appreciate one’s own talents or uniqueness. This therapy helps clients identify how they would like their life to be different and offers some tools to help one move toward those goals in a positive way. Striking a balance between what to change and what to accept in one’s life is a common theme in psychotherapy.

Psychotherapy is a resource which allows you to never feel alone with your problems. It is an opportunity to acknowledge that you have issues to work on and learn more effective ways to address them. Through her treatment, you will learn how to confront and overcome obstacles. Clients consistently report feeling better about themselves, their relationships and recognizing renewed direction for the future.
